Chapter 115: The Disaster Strikes
Gaiyin’s warm hand pressed against Su Tang’s ear. He leaned in and whispered, "Don’t be afraid, it’s just thunder."
Drums of raindrops started to fall down, the tremendous sound stealing away any trace of sleepiness from Su Tang.
She sat up on her bed and stared out at the cave entrance, which was like a waterfall. She was slightly entranced.
Seeing this, Gaiyin sat up, held Su Tang in his arms, and touched her cold hands. He couldn’t help but frown, "Why are you so cold? I’ll get more beast skins for you when the sun comes up!"
He held her a bit tighter, trying to transfer some of his warmth into her.
This time, Su Tang didn’t push Gaiyin away. Her gaze shifted towards the Wall-Crawler Beast laid out on the ground of the cave, now completely cold.
The Wall-Crawler Beast wasn’t as frightening in appearance as she had initially thought. It somewhat resembled the lizards she had seen back on the Blue Planet.
Once, Su Tang thought those small lizards were quite cute. However, seeing one this big, nearly two meters in length and weight, sent shivers down her spine.
