Robert’s thinking was simple. He believed that they were a family, that Xaviera and Quinn were sisters, thus it was not a problem for Quinn to wait for a while. But it was not the same for Jacob. Quinn had been waiting for so long with her fragile body, yet their father seemed to still prioritize Xaviera, which infuriated Jacob.
Xaviera hasn’t come home yet and their father seemed to already have a bias, when she did come home, what would become of Quinn?
Seeing Quinn’s lips bleeding from biting too hard, Jacob stood abruptly. “Dad, the conference has already ended for a while now, Xaviera is still not back but Quinn… her body…”
Before he could finish, a warm male voice filtered in from outside, “Xaviera, don’t rush, walk slowly.”

Robert also frowned in apparent concern. Knowing they were waiting for her at home, yet Xaviera was still delaying, despite him and Jacob’s patience, Quinn’s body was frail, she couldn’t wait!
Was Xaviera making things difficult for them on purpose?
“Quinn, I’m sorry. I didn’t expect her to do this. You are already sick, yet she’s still making you suffer. I’ll take you away now.” Jacob felt his heart bleed.
