“Miss Evans, we had already informed you yesterday that the meeting would start at ten o’clock. But now it’s already half past ten, we’ve been here waiting for you for half an hour!”

Xaviera slowly looked up, her eyes clear and calm as a lake. She lightly glanced at Cory and gave a small smile, “Sure. Go ahead.”
Seeing Xaviera’s calm demeanor, Cory cut to the chase, “Xaviera, you had never presided over such an important collaboration before, and the Heninger family’s demands are high. If anything goes wrong, we wouldn’t be able to handle it!”
