Acantha looked at the back where they passed the border of Tenebrisaya.
There was a really tough inspection, as they were invaded by her the last time.
The knights who were guarding there made sure that they weren’t from the Luminasiarian.
"Have we really entered the enemy’s territory?" Acantha heard Ernie ask as he was looking around.
Unlike the first day when they went here, they were now riding a wagon that they bought on their way here.
"But why does this place look very dry?" This time it was Jarnus who said those words.
"This place is actually a barren land; there are only a few people who lived here and they were just blessed with water by the goddess Solaia, who gives them the river, which the people here seem to be abusing, as they were not giving those people outside the capital or those lands that didn’t pay so much tax to their emperor," Acantha said as she was looking outside the wagon that Jarnus was running.
Helion on the other side was just quiet.
"You have been here, right, Lady Acantha?" Ernie said as he looked curiously at the place.
Acantha nodded as she looked at him. "That is why we were wearing some fancy clothes, as the people in the capital would look down on us," she explained as she sighed while looking at the sky.
