Chapter 28: Back To The Capital
The duke went to the border again while shaking his head, why can’t people seems not to understand that he was busy, and why all of the time he was visited by some uninvited guest.
When he arrived he saw Gineo was there, the Emperor knew that the Duke was at the Northern as he asked to live his obligations for a while for his daughter and the reason why the Emperor sent a messenger instead of using some power or magic to communicate with the duke is he knew that the Duke’s daughter was sensitive with magic that’s the reason why she collapsed the last time in his very own palace.
"Your Grace" Gineo said as he greets him.
"What is it Gineo ?" Arthur asked as he knew that the Emperor won’t send him here if it wasn’t important.
"Your Grace, His Highness the Emperor wants you back at the capital," Gineo answered which made Arthur frowned, he already told the emperor that he was here for an important matter.
"Did he tell you the reason?" Arthur asked, it’s not about that one right?
"He didn’t say anything, he summoned you to go back to the capital and go to the palace." Gineo said as he looked at the duke.
Gineo too didn’t knew why he was sent here by the emperor, and when he’s got here a while ago he was stopped by some knights and when he tried entering, he can’t enter the place as it has some barriers around forbidding an outsider from coming inside.
Gineo looked at the Duke again, it seems like the Duke looks fine than when he went to ask for the Emperor’s blessing that he would like to find a cure for his daughter.
Arthur on the other side sighed as he knew that he and the rest needed to go back to the capital, they just got here ,and now they’re living this place, but what’s important is Acantha was good now.
"Tell him I’ll be back just give us time to pack again," Arthur said to Gineo which the latter just answer with a nod.
