Chapter 15: The Chaos
Acantha was dancing with Evander as the music plays and she was feeling a little bit awkward with the way he looks at her.
"So, it’s really true you have lost your memory, my lady?" He asked as we were dancing.
"You have heard right?" I said as I was trying to sound not too rude.
We were dancing when we heard the music stop and there I saw the crown prince coming to our direction.
"I’ll borrow her ," He rudely snatched me from Evander who seems to be left in surprise.
He guided me out of the crowd and I even saw Noraya was trying to go after us but with so many people on her way she lost us. I tried looking for my father but he wasn’t there anymore with Count Triduexfort.
"Hey, there you are with your hobby of pulling and dragging me somewhere," I said as I wasn’t resisting from his grip, I know how strong he was so it was useless to try, damn! didn’t he knew how heavy the dress I’m wearing? and besides I was wearing
He didn’t said any word but he drag me to the garden. " What do you need?" I said as soon as we settled in the garden’s pavilion.
He just looked at me and didn’t said anything , "What did you know about the Northern territory?" He asked as he look straight in my eyes.
What does he mean by that? " What do I need to know about my mother’s family’s territory?" I asked trying to make him more suspicious that I knew something about.
He looked at me again trying to see whether I was lying or not. "Are you sure?" He asked for the second time as if he was not convince.
