Chapter 65: A Special Day
"Looks like... it's gotten brighter?" Liana looked at the magic staff in her hand.
"It really has." Mepeilu also noticed; the originally somewhat dull gem staff had, for some unknown reason, become a bit brighter.
"Could it be because you just used magic?" Liana speculated.
"Your Highness, may I give it a try?"
Liana handed the staff to Minoja. Minoja took the staff, poured mana into it, and indeed, the staff grew even brighter.
"This gem... can absorb mana..."
Minoja raised the staff she had just created with the flow magic, trying to pour mana into it, but she couldn't do it.
"Or perhaps, only Your Highness can do it?" Liana’s magic didn’t seem to be that simple.
But that wasn’t the end. The staff, which had just absorbed mana, suddenly began to emit dazzling light.
Minoja sensed something was wrong. [Water Barrier]!
The water from the nearby lake, guided by Minoja, formed a water sphere that enveloped the staff.
The staff then erupted in a violent explosion.
