Chapter 138. Gratitude
"This time, it’s my best friend. Do you know about Gray’s Vault? No? Gray’s Vault is my business that will be opening soon. Did you hear anything in the news about the biggest and rarest blue diamond?"
"Yes, it was auctioned off recently in LA. Even the Prime Minister attended and watched it," aunty said
"That was mine. We’re using it as a stepping stone to introduce our jewelry store, which will be opening shortly. Currently, Jack, who is also my best friend, is managing it. He just informed me that the store will launch soon."
"Oh, are you competing with other luxury brands? Can we see pictures of the store?" Uncle was intrigued.
Luckily, I had taken pictures of the store after finishing it. "Here," I said, handing them the images. They were amazed at the amount of gold and gems in the store.
"You really are rich, Neo."
We enjoyed our lunchtime together, and afterward, we moved to the living room to continue our conversation. When you’re having a good time, time surely flies.
"It’s getting late, Auntie and Uncle. I should be going now," I said to them.
"Oh, you can stay here; there’s a spare room," Aunt said.
"I have to visit Kyo’s parents too, Auntie, so I can’t sleep here."
"Oh? So, Kyo is your girlfriend? Good for her. She had a lot of bad experiences. Okay, son-in-law, take care. Visit us again," Uncle said.
