Chapter 62: Unknown temple(2)

While Cades was deep in thought, his heart basically bursting as he was having an anxiety attack but somehow still appearing eerily calm to the outside the archer began moving once more, now more leisurely, seemingly trying to hide his own anxiety, stress and fear.

He gave of an obviously fake sigh and began talking, this time without any gurgle once more, as if he had only been putting that on because of the fact that his anxiety was obvious, and had now put it off because he was trying to hide it, or perhaps it had just been to annoy Cades, but he didn't care right now.

"You kinda looked similar to the monster thing that put me in here.. All the silver crawling up your body, you just seemingly not moving, you looked just like that thing I thought."

He took a breath and seemed to look right ahead, into nothingness, but truly at the wall that was dressed in the painting of the singular figure clad with the door, but then he breathed it out once more, exuding an obviously false sigh and continuing telling his story.

"About four years ago I entered a temple with six sides, one with similar design to this one, amde out of the same material and everything, but without the wall paintings. Anyways, after I entered the temple, intending to explore the newly appeared structure that had been sending waves of panic throughout the whole world because no one was able to enter it. You can't imagine how surprised I was to be able to enter it, I was ecstatic, people all over the world gave me materials, acives, even constances, and those are so much rarer than actives it's really just funny. But that happiness was only short-lived, soon after I entered I felt despair."

The archer was truly opening himself up, Cades didn't think much of it because he wasn't normally in such a situation, but in truth that was just a show of the four long years he had spent in this forsaken place, the four years of loneliness, the four years in which he was barely able to speak with anyone, he would quite literally tell him everything, he was as addicted to social interactions as a cat is to cat grass, and maybe Cades would one day be at he same level as him.

And just as he was realizing the gravity of what the archer was saying, though he himself barely cared, the archer sighed once more, seemingly lost in his thoughts, as hidden as they might be, and began talking with a deep resounding voice coming from the deaths of his throat, though to Cades it simply sounded like a deep voice overlaying the archers crypted language.

"The temple consisted of an unreasonable number of rooms, thousands of them, I was lost in there for weeks, and as I was lost I was prey, I was being hunted. And the bieng hunting me looked almost like what you looked like back there, it was covered in silver, and that silver moved, it ate, it devoured, it destroyed, it tortured..."

He sighed once more, now breathing frantically but finally continuing to speak, glad to finally be rid of all of this, glad to finally talk about all that had been weighing his heart down, maybe not for the first time, but at least once more.
