Crusader King

Chapter 15: The mistake

As the runic sequences lit up in a bright violet colour Cades body was put under an unimaginable pressure, and within a single instance he was within the warp line on which he would need to travel.

He could see thousands of colours, many of which he had never even known before, and some of which were simply unimaginable to him prior to this experience.

At that very same instance he realized something.

Cades was travelling to a different dimension, he must have made an mistake in activating the warp system, or maybe it was originally supposed to travel to a different dimension, but that second one was much less likely.

He could hear countless screams resounding from all sides, the screams had no source, none but Cades mouth, he who was screaming due to the pressure was screaming, and all those screams were resounding in the interdimensional vacuum called forth by his own screams.

His body was quite literally being ripped apart in the eternal vacuum between dimensions.

He wasn't even able to breathe.

And not even his eyes seemed to function completely as he saw thinks that were completely impossible.

He had no idea where he would end up, but he knew that he probably wouldn't be able to end up there with his entire body intact.

Cades could feel the pain as one of his wings, the left one, was ripped off, but to him that pain was only a secondary problem right now.

And then, without warning, he violently crashed into another forest and felt his arm, which he had used to try and protect his face, bear the impact of the crash.
