"Brother, I’m going to watch cartoons for a while!"
Nisha shouted to Raven, who was just a few steps away from her.
"Okay, thanks."
Raven briefly replied to her with a smile.
He requested to Nisha to give him some time to talk privately with their parents.
Nisha felt betrayed for not being included in the conversation, so she didn’t agree at first.
Raven didn’t really want to exclude her from the conversation, but he was going to discuss a pretty sensitive topic, and it might complicate Nisha’s mind and feelings if she heard it.
Therefore, Raven just promised her that he would be with her until the end of the day after having a conversation with their parents.
It was only then that Nisha finally agreed, as Alfred—their dad—helped Raven convince her too.
"Don’t go anywhere while I’m not looking!"
Nisha exclaimed again to Raven in a rather worried tone.
