(Alec's POV)
"She's mine."

Heavy silence descended on the room after Raven's words.
When everyone heard him, their fear toward him changed into shame and they were all freed from the pressure he was emitting.
Everyone was focused on Raven.
He had a serious look on his face. But remembering his words just now, I got flustered. I could see other students blushing as well, especially the girls.
The girls' faces showed jealousy and excitement. Well, Raven declared in front of many, "She's mine," while saving his—I assumed—lover from lustful and nasty comments.
So it's understandable the girls would be jealous, as some of them want someone like that who will stand up for them anytime.
I mean, I want someone like that too.
