Chapter 1346: Questioning Identity
Su Chengyu furrowed his brows, about to speak, when Mo Ningchen stepped forward and asked, "Old sir, are you also a person under the Duke of Night Raven?"
The old Executor shook his head: "You both think too highly of us. How could someone of our humble standing catch the eye of His Grace? In Linbei City, it’s all too simple for the Duke to find out whatever he wants. I am merely a common businessman, merely passing on a message for you two right now."
Su Chengyu clearly didn’t believe the old Executor’s words, but Mo Ningchen shook his head, signaling Su Chengyu not to make unnecessary complications.
Suddenly, Su Chengyu thought of something and quickly returned to the room. Fortunately, Fang Qing was still there alone, and no one had sneaked in.
Seeing the somewhat flustered Su Chengyu in front, the uneasy Fang Qing spoke up.

After coming back downstairs, he saw that Mo Ningchen had exchanged a few more words with the old Executor.
Mo Ningchen spoke softly, "Let’s go. I’ve already found out where the manor is."
Su Chengyu nodded, his gaze finally glancing at the old Executor one last time before leaving the inn brought by You Ming.
