Ye Qingci slightly furrowed her brows, holding the twin swords that flew back to her and not rushing to make a move.
In Ye Qingci’s eyes, there was no hint of retreat, and Long Xuan understood as much that she had not given up, but he was not in a hurry either.
With a wave of his arm, three peach wood swords positioned themselves beside Long Xuan as he looked down at Ye Qingci and spoke softly.
"Resistance is futile, you should be wise enough to understand that."
Ye Qingci coldly retorted, "Understand? To face a strong opponent and resign to fate, has this always been your approach to an enemy, Long Xuan?"
Long Xuan shook his head slightly, "You are not me."
Hearing this, Ye Qingci nodded, "You’re right about that, I am indeed not you. So do not use your perceptions to gauge my thoughts!"
As her words fell, Ye Qingci adjusted her breathing and once again charged towards Long Xuan with her sword.
"Drive the tiger."
The peach wood swords, upon receiving the command, left Long Xuan’s vicinity and struck straight towards Ye Qingci, who dodged the strike with a swift move and then purposefully moved towards another sword.
The Wolf Swallowing Sword, just as Ye Qingci expected, started moving the moment she dodged the first strike, carrying the Taoist Magic Symbol and smashing it toward her body.
