Just as Su Chengyu was about to exit through the window, the box door was opened. The restaurant was in chaos with many customers running outside.
Sha Tianxiang pushed open the door and was met with a room in disarray and simmering with murderous intent, she was dumbfounded. She hadn’t expected that the commotion in the restaurant was instigated here.
"Young Master Lei, what is going on?" Sha Tianxiang asked.
Lei Chaosheng said, "This man is my brother’s killer, I happened to run into him here. I intend to kill him and avenge my brother."
Although Sha Tianxiang had not seen Su Chengyu and didn’t know him, she guessed that he should be the friend her elder brother had recently made.
Sha Tianxiang turned her gaze on Su Chengyu and asked, "Are you my brother’s friend?"
Su Chengyu nodded slightly. Sha Tianxiang then said, "Since you’re my brother’s friend, you’re a guest of our Shalong Gang. I hope the two of you can cease hostilities for now."
Su Chengyu calmly said, "He’s the one who wants to kill me, not the other way around."
Sha Tianxiang turned to Lei Chaosheng, "Young Master Lei, Mr. Su is a friend my brother has recently made. I had assumed both of you were from the Eastern region, hence should be acquainted, thus the arrangement for this dinner. Could you please hold back for now, Young Master Lei?"
"Miss Sha, it’s not that I don’t want to give you face. This boy killed my younger brother and escaped from the East. I finally found him here. How could I let him go so easily? How can I not avenge the killing of my brother? If I back down, and he escapes again, where would I begin to track him down in this vast world?" Lei Chaosheng resolutely conveyed his intent to fight and would not back down.
Sha Tianxiang was momentarily at a loss, unsure of how to dissuade him.
