Beyond the Inner sect disciples were elite disciples. Elite disciples had at least the realm of Great Grandmaster. The stronger ones were in the Martial Marquis Realm.
Above the rank of elite disciples were direct disciples, who generally showed the Strength of the Martial King Realm. They held very high positions within the sect, and upon further progress, could become an elder of the sect.
The hierarchical gap between Zhou Li and Han Jing was huge. Elite disciples had power over life and death over ordinary inner sect disciples, and similarly, direct disciples had power over the life and death of elite disciples.
