Chapter 379 - Sword Control Technique _1
Su Chengyu’s Dao Heart was on the verge of shattering when suddenly, a warm stream surged from his chest, flowing right into his Dao Heart, firmly enveloping it, preventing it from falling apart.
In Su Chengyu’s Domain of Consciousness, a sudden burst of golden light cut through the gloom, clearing the murkiness, causing the trembling mountains to stabilize and the tumbling rivers to calm down.
On the ground, Su Chengyu also felt this warm current, which instantaneously brought him back to consciousness.
"That’s not right! I am in the midst of a tribulation, all this is just an illusion from the Heart Demon, it’s not real!"
This warm current helped Su Chengyu regain his sanity. He immediately sat cross-legged, held firm to his original intent, reciting spells while golden light radiated from his body, rippling outwards like waves.
Wherever the golden light passed, the crowd, like a mountain plunging into the sea, instantly melted away. Various illusions shattered as if they were mirrors, allowing Su Chengyu’s consciousness to return to clarity, and revert back to his body.
The power of the heavenly tribulation had already wreaked havoc within his body. He circulated his mana, using the energy of the tribulation to temper his Dao Heart, causing what was supposed to shatter to instead become smooth and sturdy, and even repaired the defects in his Dao Heart.
"Phew..."
Su Chengyu opened his eyes, the blood in his pupils fading. He had weathered the second thunder tribulation, but his current condition was not good. He had been plagued by the Heart Demon earlier which allowed the second thunder tribulation to wreak havoc within his body. His internal organs were damaged, and many of his meridians were destroyed.
What happened within the Domain of Consciousness reflected the destruction his body underwent. The collapsing of the mountains signified the damage to his main organs while the rivers ceasing to flow symbolized the breaking of his meridians.
Su Chengyu hastily took an elixir out of his storage bag and popped it into his mouth. While restoring his mana and suppressing his internal injuries, he knew he didn’t have time to heal completely.
