In a matter of moments, the once formidable white tiger had transformed back into the little white cat, resting on Su Chengyu’s chest.
Su Chengyu, brimming with unexpected joy from his narrow escape, quickly sat up and caught hold of the little white cat’s neck.
"You ungrateful monster. Seems like your demonic power can’t maintain your true form any longer. Now, I’ll crush you!"
Su Chengyu instantly realized, this white tiger had just emerged from a stone, its demonic power was fragile, it couldn’t maintain its true form for long. Now that its demonic power had been exhausted, it could only revert to the form of a little white cat.
Having just had the fright of his life, Su Chengyu no longer found the little white cat endearing, and promptly decided to kill it, to eliminate any future trouble.
"Don’t kill me, don’t kill me. I didn’t kill you just now, I spared your life. You can’t do this to me!"
The little white cat spoke in human language, its voice kept a childish lilt.
"Hmph! I nearly died in the belly of a tiger because of you, and you still dare to dupe me?" Su Chengyu scoffed.
"If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you outright. I was only looking to make you my monster slave and put you to work for me. I didn’t really intend to kill you," explained the little white cat.
Su Chengyu gave it some thought and realized the cat had a point. After all, if the white tiger had wanted to kill him earlier, he’d already have been dead ten times over.
