Seeing Lin Chuxue’s attitude, Su Chengyu realized that she had completely turned against him. Su Chengyu never expected that Lin Chuxue would choose to believe Yuan Chaoqun, a despicable and shameless schemer.
Su Chengyu had to admit, he was impressed by Yuan Chaoqun’s acting skills.
Without saying another word, Su Chengyu turned and went straight back to his car.
Yuan Chaoqun’s eyes sparkled with satisfaction while he apologized, "Chuxue, I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to cause a rift between you and Grandmaster Su."
"He’s pushed me too far. But this isn’t just about you. I misjudged him. I thought he was different from other men. Seems all men are the same. The more accomplished they are, the less reliable they become. I must have been blind," Lin Chuxue responded.
Lin Chuxue’s heart ached intermittently. Su Chengyu was the first man she had loved, the first to truly penetrate her guarded heart, the one who left an indelible mark
But the recent series of events disillusioned her about Su Chengyu. It all culminated to this point where she could no longer control her emotions.
She made up her mind to completely break ties with Su Chengyu and forget everything. She decided to treat it as a dream that had ended. The pain was unbearable, but she believed it´s better a short sharp pain than a long drawn one.
Being indecisive was never Lin Chuxue’s style.
"I didn’t expect, Grandmaster Su to stoop so low to frame me. Why would I harm you or the Lin family?" Yuan Chaoqun said.
"Enough, let’s not talk about this anymore! I’ll take you to the hospital," Lin Chuxue said.
