The Wandering of an Unstuck Stepbro: Multiverse Travel

Chapter 323: Mom

(Ryoto's pov)

In the end, Kaede decided to live with her sister and Koro-sensei. My tale may have contributed to her decision, but in my opinion, it was the right thing to do in the long run. She is young and should spend time with her family for now because, as I said to her before, you never know when this time could end.

It meant that there was one less resident in the Yuuki household, but it didn't mean that the house would become quieter. Also, if I accidentally cockblocked Koro-sensei, I apologize.

Everyone at home said goodbye to Kaede. Although we will see each other more than often because we go to the same school and we will visit each other almost every day.

I also mentioned to Koro-sensei that he should visit a doctor. He has a new body, and we don't know how everything has changed since he retained his powers. While nothing should be out of the ordinary because Dragon Balls aren't a Monkey's Paw. They won't grant you a wish in a horrifying way, and you don't even need to be specific, but better safe than sorry. I can't stay too optimistic when there's a chance of something going wrong. I don't necessarily like that I think that way, but I can see that it's the safest way to live, even if it can be stressful as well.

The next morning before school, it was time for my daily morning training. I call it training, even though it wasn't as demanding on my body as my usual training. I guess not all training sessions need to be like that. I also don't need to be stressing about getting stronger as fast as possible. I'm not saying that I can sit around and do nothing. I still want to get stronger, but with doom and death not breathing on top of my neck, I can take my time for now.

I brought out the manual for Total Concentration Breathing and read through it. The principle for this technique was simple, but doing that was completely different. I needed to expand my lungs to intake as much air as possible. This will cause my blood flow and heartbeat to increase, as well as my body heat, which will result in my bones and muscles becoming more 'excited,' whatever that means.

I sat cross-legged under Celine as I concentrated on my breathing. The exercise was very simple: I breathed in as much air as possible, then held it until I couldn't and breathed out. This would allow me to slowly stretch out my lungs so I could intake even more air in the future.

That's the first step of the training, and I will take my time with it before I proceed to the second step.
