Chapter 560 A Body That Rejects Reality
The day began to turn into night, the sky above the ruins of the Philistines city grew darker. The remnants of sunlight slowly faded, leaving the city in heavy and silent darkness. Fitran and Beelzebub walked in silence, their steps slowly taking them away from the garden towards a safer area to rest.
They arrived at an old building, the remnants of a large house that was still intact enough to shelter them from the increasingly biting night air. The walls were cracked, but the structure was still sturdy enough to provide them protection.
In the haunting silence, Fitran remembered the legends often taught by his ancestors. It was said that places like this held trapped souls, watching over the brave who dared to enter the darkness. "Beelzebub," he said softly, "do you believe that this place has souls watching over us? Perhaps we are not the only ones here."
Beelzebub turned to him, her bright eyes shimmering under the light of a small fire. "I hope we are not disturbing them," she said, her voice trembling. "It seems this place is filled with unseen energy, and I can feel it."
Fitran lit a small fire in the middle of the room, providing the dim light and warmth they both needed. He watched Beelzebub sitting restlessly beside him, seemingly lost in her own thoughts.
"Are you okay?" Fitran asked gently, his hand touching her shoulder affectionately.
"There must be something watching over us here," Beelzebub murmured, her gaze distant, as if trying to penetrate another dimension. "Do you feel it? A watchfulness, something that envelops us in dark shadows."
Beelzebub nodded slowly, but her expression was filled with worry. "I feel strange, Fitran. As if my body is beginning to reject the presence of something within me."
Fitran immediately grew concerned, his eyes carefully observing Beelzebub's face. "What do you mean?"
Beelzebub looked at him with eyes full of anxiety. "I feel a foreign energy inside me, something trying to reject the life that is beginning to grow within me. I'm scared... I'm afraid my body will reject this baby."
Fitran quickly embraced her tightly, trying to calm the emotional turmoil Beelzebub was feeling. "You don't need to be afraid. We will find a way to get through this together. I won't let anything bad happen to you both."
