Memory of Heaven:Romance Written By Fate Through Beyond Infinity Time

Chapter 242 The Last Step Out of the Labyrinth

The forest finally opened up.

After centuries of feeling locked away, the fog within the Labyrinth Forest began to recede. The sky, which had once appeared cracked, now healed, revealing soft, fading colors. The trees that had transformed into wild creatures now returned to silence, resembling weary old beings resting after a century trapped in darkness. Between two giant roots that formed a natural gateway, the evening light pierced through for the first time, unveiling the hidden beauty within the forest.

Rinoa stood at the threshold of a new world that had opened up, her body marked with wounds and dried sweat, yet her hand never wavered from the body of Fitran whom she supported. Each heartbeat resonated with hope and fear, as if replaying their buried memories in every silence. As she sensed Fitran's frailty, her heart trembled, creating a resonance that could only be understood by souls intertwined.

Fitran walked unsteadily, one hand no longer whole, his weary eyes gazing at the world with a vacant stare, unable to recognize his surroundings. He did not know who he was; even the name of the woman holding him seemed faint. Yet, in his heart... his heart still stirred every time she turned to him and smiled, as if a spark of hope reignited in the darkness of his memory.

"Just a little more, Fitran," Rinoa whispered with a trembling voice, as if her words were a bridge guiding him back to the embrace of memories. "Just a little more, and we can sit under the real sky, breathing in fresh air and feeling the warm sunlight. Not the fake sky of ancient trees that only illuminates our imagination." Gently, she leaned closer, channeling courage and warmth from her eyes that seemed to sparkle, hoping Fitran could sense the magical light of their bond even though his memories seemed vague.

Fitran blinked slowly, as if that name touched something deep within him, awakening echoes of hidden memories.

"...Fitran?" she murmured softly. The word sounded foreign, like a voice lost in silence, yet it felt familiar, filling the space in his heart. Rinoa's voice, once filled with certainty, now floated gently like morning dew, refreshing and imbued with unmatched hope, as if she were trying to piece together the fragments of his lost memories.

Rinoa only smiled, her smile a blend of strength and vulnerability. She understood that memories cannot be forced. They must be guided, like lost children returning home to a hazy past, with each step bringing them closer to what once was. Embedded in her gentle smile was an optimistic belief; it was that fleeting moment that assured her that even though everything changes, love and loyalty remain eternal, like the twilight glow that will never dim, despite the night's arrival.

Each step they took away from the Forest Labyrinth represented a fragment of memory that Rinoa was carefully replanting, reconstructing the bridge to the past:
