Chapter 78 Battle of Black Ocean : Fitran Vs Leviathan (1)
The sea did not reflect the sky, for the sky had long since sunk within it. Above the swirling black ocean, Fitran stepped forward.
His footsteps made no ripples. There was no sound. Only an abyssal silence surrounded him.
Before him, Leviathan rose—a serpent of the world, with bones of delirium, skin of vengeance, and eyes made from the remnants of failed love.
"O author of all tragedies, I come not to fight you, but to rewrite the ending of this tale."
Fitran's body was enveloped in circles of magic, inscribed in a language long forgotten by the world. Scriptum Nihilo—the magic of the Voidwright, usable only by those willing to erase parts of their own soul to undo fate. In his left hand, a pen with no ink. In his right hand, a blank book that had never been completed.
Leviathan spoke without a mouth, its voice slicing through the air. This Voidwright magic created a tremor, as if the sea itself were splitting apart, conjuring waves that stirred both fear and longing in every soul that heard it.
"Capulet loves Montague. Thus, he must die."
"Montague loves Capulet. Thus, he must kill."
As Fitran lifted the pen and infused it with magical energy, the air grew heavy and trembled, creating a distortion that warped the reality around him. Dark waves surged forth, and in the proud silence, he uttered the first incantation, Void Magic: Shatter Reality. An explosion of energy spread, producing flickering shards of time and space that rocked the very essence of Leviathan. The colossal serpent staggered but quickly rose in thunderous rage, swinging its tail and unleashing a black storm that surged back towards Fitran.
Fitran moved with agility, leaping to the side to evade the onslaught while his magic surged onward, summoning Void Magic: Abyssal Grasp. With hands raised, he conjured shadowy hands that reached out towards Leviathan. The hands succeeded in grasping part of Leviathan's body, pulling it downward as if trying to wrench it from this world. However, Leviathan resisted fiercely; its body radiated dark light, revealing Void Magic: Serpent's Wrath. Lightning crackled from its form, piercing through the darkness with fiery brilliance, incinerating everything it touched, including Fitran's shadowy hands.
As the battle raged on, the intensity escalated. Leviathan began to summon its full power, invoking Void Magic: Cataclysmic Roar. The deafening sound crashed into Fitran, unleashing a wave of ancient energy that shook the ocean floor and created massive waves ready to engulf everything in their path. Fitran had to muster all his courage to cast the final spell: Void Magic: Final Redemption. Writing in the air with his pen, he formed glowing, poetic symbols. In a tense moment, those symbols pulsed and flowed, splitting the waves and forming a barrier against Leviathan's might, channeling new energy into the fight.
