"It's finally over," Lu Ran said in a daze.
Although this was his first time failing an ascension mission, it was all part of the plan. He would have missed out on more opportunities to farm resources if he hadn't.
This ascension mission was actually quite dangerous. If Six-Path Flower hadn't left behind the Demonic Space God to monitor the Undead Cult and collect resources from the six major sects, then his trip might have really ended in failure.
The cult leader was planning to disband the Undead Cult! If Limitless City counted that as the cult meeting its demise, then it would’ve been a disaster. Thankfully, Lu Ran and Six-Path Flower were there to stop him.
“Your Majesty, we're ready to proceed! Your Majesty?"
"Huh? Oh."
Lu Ran turned his attention away from the ascension mission prompt.
"We only have a few days left, so let's focus on hunting the Evil God. Use your spiritual power to sniff it out."
"Yes, Your Majesty!" Dark Crow replied.
“Letting the Evil God escape once is enough. We've already eliminated all of its Legendary followers, leaving behind only a few sub-Legendaries. Use your Legion form and Spiritual Speech to kill off every Evil God creature except your own. No matter how many followers the Evil God has, they will all perish from your current power.
"A few days is definitely enough time to wipe out all of the Evil God's followers. If any of them successfully resist your Spiritual Speech, then that means the Evil God has already reincarnated. If it comes to that, we'll pinpoint the coordinates and hunt it down again.”
Lu Ran rubbed his chin. Dark Crow's Spiritual Speech attribute was too overpowered. With the Evil God's hiding abilities, Captain Doofus and Sudden Death King could spend their entire lives looking and never find it, while Dark Crow could corner it without breaking a sweat.
