The Wishful-Dream God didn’t want to believe what it was seeing was reality, hoping it was just a dream. However, the clear shouts and the real sense of touch made the Dream God break out in a cold sweat.
Back in the early days of the Beastmaster Era, the Wishful-Dream God was a very innocent and naive Legendary being. It was willing to pursue all things beautiful. However, as time passed, having witnessed the filth of the world and even nearly dying in the final battle of the Mechanical Era, the Dream God came to recognize reality.
It had been beaten down by society and had grown up. It clearly didn’t believe so many Legendary beings had come just to chat with it. From the Dream God’s observation, these Legendary beings all seemed to be standing behind Lu Ran, with him as their leader.
Lu Ran smiled at the Dream God. “Greetings, Wishful-Dream God. May I ask, how do I remove this? You left this, right?”
He raised the back of his hand, showing the Dream God the curse left by the imperial seal.
Upon seeing the curse on Lu Ran’s hand, the Wishful-Dream God showed a smile uglier than crying. “No! This must have been left by that fake version of me in the ascension realm. I can’t acknowledge that an illusion created by someone else is also me. However, I can help you remove it! Also, what’s going on with all of you? Why have you all come here...?”
Lu Ran said calmly, “Don’t mind them. I obtained the imperial seal in the ascension realm, and they are all members of the Beastmaster Empire I rebuilt. Lord Dream God, you don’t mind, do you? Since you don’t acknowledge that version of yourself in the ascension realm as you, you wouldn’t try to overthrow the Beastmaster Empire I rebuilt like it did, right?”
The Dream God was stunned.
Is this some kind of joke? Did he recruit all these Legendary beings?
“Of course not,” The Dream God said, sweat beading on its forehead.
