“Alternatively, the federation might have very few of these Legendary-killing weapons, maybe just one or two. The Mechanical Leader likely made a tough call to trade national treasures for Mythical secret realm rewards. He might’ve even needed approval to use them.
“Whether the secret realm’s rewards outweigh the weapons’ value is debatable, but either way, he’s now armed with resources to strengthen his familiars. Combined with his quasi-Legendary mechanical lifeform and a two-level beastmaster advantage over you, he’s a real threat.
“Also, the World War rules aren’t finalized. If they allow such tech weapons, you’re in even bigger trouble, though I suspect Limitless City will impose restrictions. Zhu Yan’s corpse might get banned, too. Fair’s fair.”
