Chapter 58: Dray
Riven remained in confusion until he heard the full story about this Jasper that was making all of them react so much.
Apparently, Jasper was a rank two like him, but not just an ordinary rank two. He was ranked number one in the mountain for the rank two practitioners, and he was the down-to-earth bully.
He bullied anyone weaker than him, and he always did it in the most humiliating way. On the mountain, the only people he could not touch were the rank three.
Jasper stepped forward and did a nodding bow at Tong. "Senior brother Tong, thank you for the opportunity, but please, can you give it to Dray?"
Tong narrowed his eyes. "Explain yourself."
Jasper was a green guy with a handsome face and a lean, muscular body. His smile was charming, and he was the secret crush of a lot of female students, even the rank three.
But the cruelty in his eyes could not be hidden. It brimmed from his eyes as he looked at everyone weaker than him with disgust.
He spread his hand as he gestured at Riven without even looking at him. "Dray is the strongest rank one and a proper genius that is even punching above his weight. Already he can give the weakest rank two some trouble, much less this barbarian. Let Dray deal with him. He’s not even worth my time."
Riven blinked. "...you little shit... I’m not worth your time?..."
Tong sneered. "That makes sense, Jasper. Alright. Dray! Come out and trade pointers with him. Since you are rank one and he is rank two, then it is not fair. We should put some handicap in place."
