The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2807: Fight or Leave!

Carson Flores understood.

Avidan Hartman was planning to take him out.

Carson Flores said, "It seems there’s no point in talking, is there?"

Avidan Hartman smiled, "Although you swore an oath and the Primeval Myriad Sword Art requires the Stele to comprehend, there’s still a slight chance of leakage. You abide by the rules, so naturally, I must too. But if you don’t, then I don’t have to. Killing you will put an end to future troubles."

"Nereida Nash must have feelings for you. For that alone, you must die."

"You cannot kill him!"

Nereida Nash suddenly shouted, her face pale, raising her index and middle fingers like a sword against her forehead: "If you kill him, I’ll kill myself!"

Avidan Hartman’s face turned cold as he looked at Nereida Nash: "Suicide? You think you can kill yourself?"

A terrifying pressure emanated from Avidan Hartman, making Nereida Nash feel frozen, unable to move, let alone commit suicide.

Nereida Nash struggled to say, "You can’t keep me imprisoned forever. If I want to die, no one can stop me!"

Avidan Hartman coldly said, "I’ll kill this boy first, then imprison you on the island for a hundred years. By then, you’ll think living is a joy, and if you still wish to die, I won’t stop you."

Nereida Nash’s face turned pale. She didn’t want to die; she just wanted to use the threat of her death to force Avidan Hartman to spare Carson Flores. But her threat had no effect.

What use would it be to die after Carson Flores?

Carson Flores said, "Immortal Nash, don’t worry. He wants to kill me, but he may not succeed."

Carson Flores turned to look at Theo, lazily lying nearby: "Friend, you won’t just stand by and watch me die here, will you?"

Theo lazily got up from the ground: "Seeing as you didn’t forget to save me a share of the feast, I’ll save you."

Carson Flores laughed, "Thank you, traveling with you truly is my honor."

Avidan Hartman frowned slightly, his gaze landing on Theo.

When he came to pursue Carson Flores and the others, he had been informed that Carson Flores, Nerisse Blaine, and a demonic beast he’d subdued had left together. He even asked what kind of beast it was and was told it looked cute and harmless, like a fluffy leopard pet beast.

Carson Flores was actually seeking help from it?

"And who are you?"

Theo lazily replied, "It’s none of your business who I am. Now, you have two choices: either leave yourself, or die here."

Avidan Hartman was angered by Theo’s words, coldly laughing: "What bold words! I’ve cultivated to this point, and though I’m not yet a Quasi-Saint, I consider myself unrivaled among the Superior Grade Great Land Prime Immortals. Saying you’ll kill me is truly laughable. Who do you think you are, a Quasi-Saint?"

Theo sneered, "I may not yet match a Quasi-Saint, but a Superior Grade Great Land Prime Immortal like you can’t compete with me. Stop with the nonsense; either fight or leave!"

Avidan Hartman, a top-tier powerhouse, wasn’t going to be scared off by Theo’s harsh words. Few in the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain could suppress him.

Who had ever spoken to him in such an insolent manner?

This was courting death, wasn’t it?

Avidan Hartman reached out with one hand toward Theo, and the space around them seemed to collapse, fiercely compressing toward Theo.

The space compression was so intense that if Theo didn’t respond with enough strength, his body would be crushed instantly.

Yet, in the next second, the terrifying compression suddenly stopped.

In front of Theo and the others, it was as if there was an invisible Sky-supporting Pillar, propping up the space unaffected by the surrounding compression.

Theo remained lazily standing, as if he hadn’t done anything.

Avidan Hartman’s expression changed.

His gaze sharpened, the pressure of space instantly surged again.

The space collapsed inward once more but then abruptly stopped.

In an instant, fear crept into Avidan Hartman’s eyes.

Earlier, he had only tested casually, not using his full strength. Being blocked had startled him but didn’t deter. Attacking with full force and still being easily blocked made him uneasy.

Even if the opponent were also a Superior Grade Great Land Prime Immortal, it shouldn’t be this effortless!

This small, seemingly cute and harmless demonic beast—where on earth did it come from?

Carson Flores hadn’t brought this beast initially. Where did it come from?

"Who on earth are you?"

Theo calmly said, "Who I am doesn’t concern you. Fight or leave!"

Avidan Hartman clenched his teeth in anger at Theo’s words, exhaling deeply and looked at Carson Flores: "When you came, you didn’t have it with you..."
