The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2797: Burial Site for Scorpions, Striking It Rich!

"Friends, what else could it be?"

Carson Flores answered without hesitation, "We had an agreement when we parted, so I’m just sending a message to notify her, no big deal."

Having Maedryn Cobb deliver the message was something Carson had carefully considered.

The Myriad Immortals Palace isn’t just a place anyone can enter, even delivering a message isn’t a simple matter of finding someone random to send it in, and there’s no guarantee against anything going wrong. If Maedryn Cobb delivers the message, there’d be none of these issues.

Carson didn’t have any significant matters in relaying a message to Spencer Steele, just informing her of his whereabouts. Otherwise, in the vastness of the Immortal Realm, once separated, they might be forever apart.

These years, Carson has been involved in various activities, causing a Order of Ten Thousand Immortals warrant to be issued for his capture. While Spencer Steele is in the Myriad Immortals Palace, she must be quite worried for her mentor, and a letter could ease her mind.

Nerisse Blaine looked at Carson suspiciously, but Carson maintained a calm demeanor.

If the mentor-disciple relationship were exposed, if something happened, wouldn’t it bring trouble to her?

Nerisse Blaine and Carson exchanged glances for a few seconds, then she withdrew her gaze, showing a subtle smile, her expression slightly nuanced.

Theo emerged from the black mist again after the three waited for a while.

Carson stood up from the ground, brushed off the yellow sand on his pants, and smiled, "All settled?"

Theo responded with a nod, "Follow me."

Carson was slightly taken aback, then nodded, "Alright!"

Theo turned and walked away, Carson glanced at Nerisse Blaine, and she gestured for him to go.

Theo had asked Carson to follow, but not them, so they refrained from tagging along unnecessarily.

Carson followed Theo, walking for a while, then curiously asked, "Where are we heading?"

"You’ll know when we get there."

Theo replied, leading the way straight ahead, before long, they arrived at the base of a cliff.

Nestled at the foot of the cliff was an enormous cave, Theo led the way into it.

Carson followed in, finding his vision suddenly expansive.

This was an enormous underground space, scattered all around with skeletal remains, upon closer inspection, all the skeletons were Crystal Scorpions.

Carson widened his eyes in surprise and asked, "Why are there so many Crystal Scorpions’ bodies here?"

Theo explained, "The Crystal Scorpions living nearby come here when they reach the end of their lives, awaiting death; this is their tomb."

"You wanted Crystal Scorpions’ stingers, right? You don’t need to hunt them; just come here and collect them."

Carson was thrilled, having originally been prepared to give up, never expecting such a fortunate turn of events.

The bodies of Crystal Scorpions were piled up in heaps, densely packed, filling the vast underground space; the number couldn’t even be counted. How many stingers would that produce?

"Can I take them all?"

Theo responded, "Yes, all of them. You mentioned a lot earlier, and I remember them all. But since they’ve lived here for so long, I don’t want them completely gone. These Crystal Scorpions are already dead, so it doesn’t matter, take them as you please."

Carson laughed, "Alright, then I won’t be polite."

"Go ahead, I’ll wait."

Carson began collecting all the Crystal Scorpions’ stingers from their bodies, and after some time, he gathered them all together.

Carson counted, and was overjoyed.

One thousand three hundred and twenty-five stingers!

Exchanging these for points would amount to well over ten thousand points!

He’s struck it rich!

Feeling the freedom of points, Carson’s gaze fell on the stingers in his hand, suddenly coming up with an idea.

These Crystal Scorpions’ stingers are incredibly hard, even using the Nebula Sword might not cut through them, and they’re extraordinarily sharp, able to easily pierce through steel.

The stinger is needle-shaped, but since Crystal Scorpions are enormous, each stinger is several meters long; isn’t this a prime candidate for a Flying Sword?

Immortal Gathering Island collects these stingers presumably for Artifact Refining, or even crafting Flying Swords, right?

Now that Carson practices the Primeval Myriad Sword Art, he can control tens of thousands of Flying Swords, forming a Sword Domain, an unstoppable force that requires a large number of Flying Swords. Carson does have several Flying Swords, but clearly not enough.

If all these stingers were made into Flying Swords, and he then performs the Primeval Myriad Sword Art, the power increase wouldn’t be just a little bit; his combat power would multiply greatly!

The more Carson thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed. After all, he wouldn’t need all these stingers just to exchange for points, so why not customize a set of Flying Swords for himself?

After gathering all the stingers, Carson asked, "Theo, shall we leave now?"

Theo nodded, "We can."

Carson advised, "Just follow me quietly and don’t stir up trouble, I’ll lead you out."

"Alright!"

As Carson and Theo returned, Carson smiled at the two waiting, saying, "Alright, we can go back now, it’s time to leave Immortal Gathering Island..."
