Chapter 1246: Betting Life, Fighting for a Glimmer of Future Possibility!

Carson Flores and a few others sat in a restaurant, each with an unmistakable look of fatigue on their faces.
They had been on the battlefield for some time now, shadowing their tracks and relentlessly launching surprise attacks on the Demon Race troops, causing one unit after another to completely collapse.
Among these Demon Race armies were powerful Great Demons, but they couldn’t withstand the assault from Carson and his comrades.
For the weaker ones, Carson and the other five directly overpowered them with brute force. For stronger and numerically superior enemies, Carson would deploy Stella Rios and Heath Wells to employ a decapitation tactic, striking and running away. By the time the enemy barely caught a breath, the two would return to kill a few more, then flee again.
Being Demi Immortals, Stella Rios and Heath Wells had the freedom to come and go as they pleased, which made it impossible for the normal Demon Race units to withstand their raids.
If they couldn’t kill the enemy in one go, or shatter their resolve, they would just attack several more times!
Carson raised his glass and laughed, "Everyone has worked hard during this time. Now, the nearest Demon Race troops have been completely routed by us. Unless the whole Demon Race Army pushes through, these cities should be temporarily safe."
Kellan Gentry clinked his glass with Carson’s, drained it in one gulp, and laughed, "These times have been too exhilarating, defeating one Demon Race army after another, making them flee in terror—so satisfying!"
