Chapter 1091: What, Has the Guizhou Donkey Run Out of Tricks?
Demetrius Hester casually threw a golden bead, which floated directly above his head, radiating endless golden light. Wherever this golden light reached, the flames retreated.
Demetrius Hester floated in the air, scoffing with a cold smile, "Is your reliance on this Water-Fire Mirror? No matter how good a magical treasure is, it depends on who wields it!"
Carson Flores said nothing, his face stern as he once again urged the Water-Fire Mirror.
The flames surged once more.
Demetrius Hester remained motionless in the air, laughing loudly, "What’s the matter, out of tricks and furious?"
When the flames swept before Demetrius Hester, the Golden Light burst forth, causing the flames to retreat again. However, in places Demetrius didn’t notice, countless tiny blood-colored dots descended, completely enveloping him.
These blood-colored dots also covered the golden bead, which in a matter of seconds appeared as if it had undergone time corrosion, instantly becoming dull and then rust-spotted, with the Golden Light completely vanishing, like an iron bead corroded away.
With the Golden Light gone, Demetrius Hester’s laughter abruptly ceased, his expression uncertain as he stared at the corroded golden bead, a look of terror on his face.
What is this thing?
The blood dots had silently descended, landing on Demetrius Hester’s body.
Stabbing pain emanated from his body, drawing his gaze away from the golden bead.
