Josy’s all-encompassing tendrils, even as they brandished magical treasures in a frenzy to slash and sever the vines, could not keep up with the rampant growth of the tendrils. They could not be eliminated no matter how many were cut down. Although they could not kill them at once, it prevented them from escaping.
Enraged, Jonathan Roth brought out his Blood-colored Dust, sweeping it through the air, with each strand scattering a frightening Blood Light. A sea of Blood Light spread out, submerging the endless tendrils within.
Suddenly, Carson Flores made his move.
He took a step, the runes under his feet flashed, and he instantly disappeared from his spot.
