Carson Flores sighed and reached out to pull Samantha Tate into his arms.
"You silly girl, are you planning to die here with me?"
Without hesitation, Samantha Tate nodded, "If you can’t get out, I’ll stay here with you, even if we both end up dead, we’ll die together."
After a pause, Samantha Tate added, "I came to this world because of you; if you’re no longer here, then nothing else matters to me."
Carson Flores comforted her, "How can it be meaningless? You still have your sister, she’s waiting for us in Rajevols. Even if I can’t get out, at least you can. You could tell her about me, so she wouldn’t be left without any news of my disappearance."
Samantha Tate shook her head, "If she knows I am in Heavenly Mountain, she’ll come eventually, and she’ll find out you found me and that we went missing while being chased by the Crimson Dragon King. We might as well be considered dead at his hands; it makes no real difference."
Seeing he couldn’t persuade Samantha Tate, Carson Flores changed the topic to his own Sword Bone, "Don’t be pessimistic, I might also have a chance to get out."
Holding Carson Flores, her eyes slightly reddened, Samantha Tate said, "You don’t need to comfort me.
