Lucy Frost paused in her chopping for a moment, then resumed as if nothing had happened, "As long as he’s safe, that’s good."
Carson Flores consoled her, "As the heir to the Demon Emperor, he is an exalted being among the Demon Race. Now that he’s back in the territory of his people, there’s no more danger. You don’t have to worry, Mom. Focus on your cultivation, and the day when you can see each other again will naturally come."
Lucy Frost sighed, "Who knows if he will still be the same person after all this? But the fact that he survives such a desperate situation is already a miracle. It’s good that he’s alive."
