Isabel Reid wore a face full of disappointment as she spoke with heartfelt anguish.

Katherine Reid was bewildered by her father’s slap, but after hearing his words, she quickly came to her senses and bowed to Carson to apologize.

Carson scoffed, putting on an act now?
A self-harming scheme?
Even though he was aware the two were putting on an act, Carson knew that at the moment, he was only using tough words as a bluff. Bringing down Isabel Reid with his own strength still seemed unlikely.
Carson was about to mock Isabel Reid when suddenly Delaney Hunter’s cold voice came from the sky.
"Isabel Reid, you’ve come up with a self-harming scheme, and at your age, don’t you have any shame? Bullying my junior brother and thinking you can just walk away from it—are you dreaming?"
Carson abruptly looked up and saw Delaney Hunter diving from the sky at incredible speed, like a meteor. Her voice still echoed in the air as she appeared before everyone, landing with a thunderous crash, her hair flying, her clothes fluttering, emanating a formidable presence.
