Carson Flores, flashlight in hand, left the ancient temple openly and without hesitation.

Maxton and his men, tracking Carson, had traveled some distance into the city. When they saw the flashlight indicating Carson’s presence suddenly disappear, they stopped abruptly.
"The kid is hiding."
Maxton frowned and looked around, "He’s clear about our grudge; he’s hiding from us now."
"What shall we do now?"
Maxton glanced at the lights behind him and made a clean decision, "Forget him, let’s move at full speed; someone is watching us."
