At the barbecue stand, Raelynn Howell explained with a touch of embarrassment, "I wasn’t deliberately hiding my family’s situation before; I just thought that when making friends, what’s important is bonding over shared hearts, not getting tangled up in family backgrounds. It’s quite bothersome."

Carson Flores, holding a beer, clinked his bottle against Raelynn’s and chuckled, "You don’t know Danny Browning?"

Raelynn Howell shook her head, "I’m just a student and don’t get involved in family affairs on regular days. If he doesn’t reveal his family name, I really wouldn’t recognize him."

Carson Flores looked at Raelynn Howell with a smile, pinpointing her little scheme, "You didn’t know his identity earlier, so you didn’t hit him. Once you knew he was the son of the Browning family head, you even went up to break his other leg and deliberately announced your own name... Were you afraid he would seek revenge on me and Rebecca, so you intentionally drew his hatred?"

Raelynn Howell, her thoughts seen through, explained somewhat embarrassingly, "I was the one who hit him before, so it’s only right that I face the consequences. If the Browning family really wants to retaliate against you, they will play dirty. Although the Howell family is far behind the Browning in terms of making money, we are still a Cultivator family and aren’t afraid of them."

Rebecca Ward asked anxiously, "Danny Browning was beaten so badly; he definitely won’t let this go and will surely come after you."

Raelynn Howell waved her hand nonchalantly, "The Browning and Howell families have been at odds both openly and in secret, not just for a year or two. This little incident doesn’t make much difference. I’ve already called my second aunt; she’ll handle it."
