Silver let out a piercing screech, and just as the Phantom’s body crashed into the crater, he fired a concentrated crimson beam straight into the impact zone.

The explosion shook the air. Dust and Deathmist burst upward in a massive cloud, swallowing the entire crater.
I hovered above it all, wings spread wide, my eyes locked on the swirling mist below.
