The Grand Duke looked at the devices, which to an outsider might appear as remnants of a large building, with concern.
“I’m uneasy because we’ve never done a test run...”
“I believe it will function properly,” said Adelia, and the grand duke nodded quietly.
Conducting research on the battlefield was extremely difficult. After joining the Allied Forces, the grand duke and the mage division had sacrificed sleep to pursue this long and arduous project, while working alongside Adelia, the genius who created the Power Cartridge artifact and possessed a rare talent for magical crafting. The Demon King, Reinhart, had gathered the youngsters of the Temple’s Royal Class to create impossible items, and in less than a year, those items had been created. Both Moonshine and the Power Cartridge were now indispensable resources for the Allied Forces. The Arc Crystal that Rudina was using was also one of the many improved versions of the Power Cartridge.
Grand Duke Saint-Ouen had once doubted Reinhart’s ideas. But, just as the Demon King had said, those two artifacts had been successfully created—almost as if he had foreseen the future. Reinhart had accurately assessed his classmates’ potential.
