Chapter 235: They Didnt Simply Come Here to Learn Swimming
To successfully pass the end-of-term swimming exam, Mei Fang needed to intensify his swimming practice. He talked to Guo Yun about the gym’s swimming pool, and she invited them to try out the pool where she was working out.
Guo Yun mentioned that the swimming pool offered a free first visit, and if they liked it, they could get a membership.
The gym was conveniently located near Jiangcheng NOHS, so after discussing it with Xia Yuan and Lin Youxi, they decided to give it a try over the weekend.
The day before, Xia Yuan and Lin Youxi went to a nearby mall to pick out swimsuits together, one of the few occasions Mei Fang didn’t join them. He took advantage of their absence to enjoy some single-player video games at home.
On Sunday, after a meal, the trio headed to the gym where Guo Yun was working out.
Mei Fang had noticed that Guo Yun’s family situation had improved recently. In middle school, she had been quite frugal, but her spending and tastes had noticeably upgraded since high school, indicating a significant improvement in her family’s financial status.
Guo Yun had been looking forward to this first meet-up after their New Year gathering for quite some time. She arrived at the gym early and greeted them enthusiastically at the entrance.
