Chapter 404: The 11th Dark Purple Fruit
Alaric didn’t bring Zephyr with him since it was too big and conspicuous. Instead, he rushed towards the location on foot. With his speed, he could even run faster than some Disaster-grade beasts.
No mission is notified this time. What a pity.
He volunteered to take care of this task because he hoped to receive a mission from the system, but he didn’t get any notification.
A few hours later, Alaric finally saw the Purple Mist Tree.
He wasn’t familiar with its appearance, but based on the description and illustrations written in books, he could tell that this was what he was looking for. Moreover, he also discovered the monster outpost built atop the branches of the tree.
Hold on... I thought this tree could only produce ten fruits every decade, then why is there an extra fruit?
Alaric was confused.
Hanging from one of the branches was a purple fruit which was significantly darker than the normal Purple Mist Fruits. Furthermore, it was twice as big and it was wrapped in some kind of mana membrane.
With one look, Alaric’s instincts told him that this particular fruit was a treasure.
Not bad... This trip is not wasted.
As he moved closer to his target, Alaric removed all traces of his mana to prevent the monsters from discovering his presence.
There are more monsters here than I thought, but the strongest is just an entry-level Disaster-grade beast.
