Chapter 331: Title at the End
Alaric looked at the warriors before him and felt a bit emotional. A year ago, he couldn’t even command more than fifty warriors, but in front of him now stood one thousand fierce warriors. Moreover, this still wasn’t the full strength of House Silversword!
"As we speak, the soldiers of Harune are marching towards the western borders of our nation!" He announced with a grim voice. His words made everyone frown.
"Their goal is to slaughter our countrymen and turn..."
Alaric had already prepared his speech before coming here. This was necessary to invoke the fighting spirit of his troops.
Looking at the agitated soldiers, Alaric knew that his desired outcome had been fulfilled. Now, it was time to give them the mission.
"All of you will follow me to the western borders! We must stop the invaders from attacking our lands!"
"We will follow Your Highness!" The warriors replied sonorously.
Alaric was pleased. He then told them to inform their families about their departure before he dismissed them excluding the demonkin, Azazel.
"How was your stay in the town?" Alaric asked him with a faint smile.
Azazel still had his usual gloomy look, but his face had noticeably become more radiant.
"Thanks to Your Highness’ efforts, the residents are no longer afraid of me," Azazel replied in a respectful tone.
