Both turned their heads and saw Kiera Olsen slowly approaching.

Upon seeing Kiera Olsen, Jake Horton’s eyes lit up.

Oliver Horton furrowed his brows: "What are you doing here?"

Kiera Olsen walked over and said directly: "I think your son has a bright future, so I’ve decided to invest in starting a company for him."

Oliver Horton was stunned and then became furious: "Have you made up your mind to oppose me?"

Kiera Olsen spread her hands: "I hadn’t thought that much, just wanted to give an old classmate a job opportunity."

Oliver Horton took a deep breath: "You..."

Kiera Olsen had already turned to Jake: "Remember in college, we talked about starting a chemical company after graduation. Now, I want to invest in you. Will you accept?"

Jake Horton was taken aback, looking at Kiera Olsen, his mouth opened as if he wanted to ask: Are you investing in me because you want to oppose the first branch of the family, or out of pity for me?

But before those words came out, Kiera Olsen interrupted him: "You know me, I never mix business with personal feelings. I’m investing in you because I think you’re the right fit."

Jake Horton had his advantages; his social skills and ability to gather friends around were stronger than Kiera Olsen’s, even stronger than Lewis Horton’s.
