Chapter 1002 - 1003: Investigating the Truth
Seven or eight 10-Star and 11-Star wizards were gathered inside a tower, in front of them was a portal, which, however, could no longer be used; the internal structure of the portal had been disrupted and damaged.

Thus, the identities of this group were the Grand Magicians of the Wizard Association.

One of the Grand Magicians, who was not participating in the repair, was using a spatial scroll, but if a player were present and locked onto this person, they would notice that the scroll’s Reading Bar was moving exceptionally slowly.
What usually was instantaneous, the usage of the scroll was now so strangely slow, and one could see blue sparks continuously emerging around the scroll, a result of the special energy of the spatial scroll colliding with the surrounding force of spatial rules.
All of these signs indicated how much the current environment had deteriorated.
Among this group, there were three 10-Star wizards; two of them were severely injured, both with only 2-3 bars of health left.
Just as these people were fully engaged in their repairs, unbeknownst to them, the rules here quietly grew stronger, and the inner court’s door opened silently.
