Crescent Pass is the westernmost boundary of the Human Tribe’s activity in Yan Kingdom. Beyond Crescent Pass lies the Land of Great Danger: the Ancient Demon Country Ruins!
According to the books in the fort and other sources, Yan Kingdom’s history tells us that during the ancient times of Huaxia, a powerful race ruled the land. This race followed a doctrine known as the Demon Doctrine, and is formally referred to in historical texts and official documents of other nations as the Demon Kingdom.
Today, the traces of the Demon Kingdom have mostly been cleared, but a few remnants still exist in the world. One of these is the Ancient Demon Country Ruins located beyond Crescent Pass.
What makes this place a Land of Great Danger is that players below level 50 mysteriously die upon entering. While those above level 50 mysteriously get poisoned! If there’s no antidote and no powerful priest around, then you better prepare for a poison-induced death.
Additionally, players equipped with "wings" are unable to fly within the Demon Kingdom ruins. Troops led by players are not subjected to mysterious attacks, but experience a significant suppression effect.
Moreover, once past Crescent Pass, there are no supply stations or Human Tribe fortresses where players can safely stand their ground.
If a player logs in again after logging out while poisoned, they will be in an attacked state, and will not be able to return to the city. This return action can’t be disturbed or interrupted by any negative states such as losing health.
The Land of Great Danger isn’t just confined to the harsh conditions on the ground. The sky is just as chaotic with its continuously erratic air currents, and the sudden, strange appearance of black holes. Players sucked in will be randomly teleported to some location here, and their health decreases dramatically.
Back in the previous world, the Demon Kingdom Ruins were the least popular area to level up. It was not just because of the harsh environment, but mainly because the Experience Monsters here were especially horrifying!
Are they terrifying just in appearance? Definitely not! Their terrifying nature also showed in their habits!
