At the main entrance, a female attendant handed him a card with a seat number. As Chu You’s subordinate, Wang Meimei quickly took the card, thanked her, and thus, they both officially entered the venue.
Just before entering, Chu You had looked up at the camera and smiled slightly.
Their seats were at the front area, which was the VIP section. A few rows ahead were where the bigshots were seated – those expected to give a speech.
They could see a few industry bigshots, both Huaxia and foreigners, already seated upfront.
After they took their seats, Wang Meimei started to discreetly introduce the bigshots sitting upfront to Chu You. This brought them so close as to perceive barely audible murmurs in each other’s ears and the delicate scent they both wore.
One of the bigshots stood up and walked towards Chu You, and Wang Meimei ceased her introductions as he approached.
