"No!" Xiao Qiao’s response, however, surprised Chu You.
"I understand what you mean, but I want to tell you that the ’me’ in front of you is the real ’me’," Xiao Qiao pointed to her own head as she spoke. Her serious expression made her look rather cute.
"What is the real ’me’?" Xiao Qiao began to pace as she prepared to clarify for Chu You.
"The ’spiritual incarnation’ you’re talking about is like a role, right? I do have many, many roles scattered throughout the digital world. Each of these roles possesses varying levels of intelligence. But at their core, they’re just executing a program I created. Some of the information they gather doesn’t even directly feed back to my physical form, or what you’d call ’the terminal.’
"The ’me’ in front of you, is the ’me’ the terminal consolidates, the primary consciousness! Do you understand?"
"I see. But let’s not dwell on that. Xiao Qiao, I’d like for you to monitor Tianchu Group for any signs of corruption and report back to me. Can you do that?"
