Chapter 209: The Task of the Yan Emperor

The young Emperor was presently bowing his head, holding a brush in his hand, going through some bamboo slips. Numerous other slips were also placed on the desk.
"Night Ghost greets His Majesty." After saying so, Chu You slightly bowed and then lifted his head.
The brush halted, the Yan Emperor looked up and at the same moment locked gazes with Chu You.
After a moment, the Yan Emperor slightly nodded, and a glimmer of appreciation sparked in his eyes, "So you’re Night Ghost? Truly extraordinary! I am already aware of your feats. How nice it would be, if Yan had more people like you, a Son of Heaven and Earth." As he finished speaking he was standing in front of Chu You, with Chu You being slightly taller.
"I am always striving in this direction!" Chu You responded.
"That’s excellent, I am already aware of your objective as well." Here, a mysterious color appeared in the eyes of the Yan Emperor. When he spoke about Chu You’s objective, he was referring to the control of the Heavenly Gate Fortress.
