Chapter 101: Puppet Miner
Chu You relied on a wooden boat to reach a spiritual stone mine emanating a spectral glow once again.
Chu You now understood that the boat would reappear at the point it entered the river after some time if no one used it. Also, it could accommodate six people at a time.
Chu You disembarked at some random place. The waters around his little boat were filled with elite sea monsters. The cold gaze in their eyes was faintly visible.
Stepping onto the land, Chu You looked around and then walked in. The underground spiritual stone mine was enormous, and he was just at the edge of it.
The place was eerily silent, with the only sound being the dripping of water from above.
Spirit stones were embedded everywhere in the icy rocks, with gas flowing within them, which seemed quite impressive.
This place is not suitable, Chu You thought. He observed around and decided to go deeper.
With the spectral glow produced from the spirit stones, Chu You could vaguely discern signs of past human activity— rudimentary stone steps, rusty chains, and long-abandoned mining equipment.
He walked through a stone archway. A yawning chasm lay before him and narrow paths stretched on either side of him, only wide enough for one person to pass.
Hmm, if he went further down, he might find an ideal place...
A glimmer of affirmation flashed in his eyes. Chu You stepped onto the perilously narrow stony path with tranquility.
