Chapter 322 - 283: Wukong’s Great Battle with Mosquito Taoist
Wukong saw a Taoist cultivating beneath the city, surrounded by blood light and malevolent aura that made him seem ghastly, a truly terrifying sight indicative of an evil and crooked path.
Wukong withdrew his Heavenly Eye, held the Lion Seal in his hand, his eyes wide open in a Vajra expression, and roared, "Om—Mani—Padme—Hum!"
He stretched out the Six Syllable Mantra long, each syllable shaking heaven and earth. Golden lotuses surged in the air, and terrifying sound waves rushed into the city and underground, assaulting the Taoist’s spirit.
Buddhist True Words and Taoist True Words could both attack a person’s soul. The Taoist, deep in meditation, suddenly heard a thunderous sound; the terrifying mantra almost materialized before him, striking like thunder. His body’s blood light instantly dissipated, and he spat a mouthful of blood with a ’puh’ sound.
"Who dares to ambush me?" the Taoist roared furiously, turning into a black light and shooting up from below the ground, his body enveloped in blood light and an eerie aura, like a demon lord.
Wukong, holding the Lion Seal, roared again, "Poluo-seng-jiedi!"
A wave of sound blasted again. The Taoist was prepared this time, he shouted loudly, sending a punch that with his voice, shattered the wave of sound.
"Who are you? How dare you sneak attack me?!" the Taoist said, his face sinister, with slanted brows over triangular eyes, and a hooked nose.
The face is the mirror of the heart; his ugly appearance suggested a heart just as vile, a genuine evil demon.
Wukong shouted, "Who are you, Taoist? How dare you kill eighty thousand citizens of Xiqimi Country? Is there no king’s law?"
The Taoist sneered, "King’s law? We who cultivate the Tao have no regard for such laws. Are you Victorious Fighting Buddha?"
